Could anyone explain to me what the security precautions I have to take if I have to run ISA on DC?

I followed Tom's article "Installing ISA Server on a Domain Controller". As he mentioned, unfortunately, I have to put all my eggs in one basket. (We are a very small company hoping to break free). All articles say that you shouldn't use Port 80 and 8080, but I don't know if it is for security or perfomance reasons.

Any particular links about this topic, or any explanation would be appreciated.

Hi Siva,

I don't see any problems using those ports. What articles do you see recommending that you don't use TCP 8080 for the Web Proxy clients? What articles recommend (for security reasons) to not use TCP 80 on the internal interface?

thanks!
Tom
