We have an issue that our ISP are saying may be our problem - the vast majority (e.g. 99.999%!) of sites load for internal clients without issue. We have so far got two sites which end up in our ISA returning a DNS or gateway timeout for.

The ISA is set up as nothing but a standard edge-firewall. Internal NIC has internal DNS servers on, external has no DNS servers on, our internal DNS servers forward tto our ISP DNS servers.

Is there anything at all that would cause such a problem within ISA itself?

What IP address range are you using internally?

Internal IPs are 10.251.146.255 through 10.251.147.255

Well, whatever the issue was, the websites (two of them) amazingly fixed themselves around 5:30pm last night...we changed absolutely nothing at our end so all I can assume is some ISP issue was to blame...probably to do with the fact that they had a good few schools all going 'live' on a single IP so some servers were seeing masses of connections from this IP, thinking it was a DDOS, and blocking the IP!...Jeesh...
