Would like to hear peoples opinions on the following. I am about to roll out a new network W2K3, E2K3 etc but the current network sits behind a PIX (several years old now) - after playing with ISA 2004 it has some great features that will blend well with E2K3 (RPC over HTTP etc) + it gives me more granular control over what's coming in/out. As my knowledge of the cisco family is limited would you just replace the PIX with ISA 2004 OR run them both. Just for the record, we currently use the Cisco vpn client but this is now proving to be difficult as vpn pass-through is not supported by some isp's - your thoughts appreciated.

regards

david

Hi David,

Since you have the PIX, keep it. Put it front of the ISA firewall in a back to back firewall configuration.

HTH,
Tom
