I am trying to figure out the best way to configure my firewall to allow access to other subnets in our WAN. Currently I have setup the other subnets as internal networks, but this is throwing off many events errors. How should I set these up. Our internal network is 10.0.0.X and the 2 other addresses that I need to get to are 167.0.0.X and 192.168.0.X. Should I setup the 167.0.0.X as an external network and leave 192.168.0.X as an internal network? what is the best way to do this?

Thanks
Gavin...

Hi Gavin,

Have a network diagram? Configuration depends on where the networks are physically located in relation to the ISA firewall.

Thanks!
Tom

I don't have a diagram, but here is how it is configured...

DSL goes to the internet for VPN Access. I have 2 NICS on the server, one for internal access and the other goes to the DSL line. When the users connect through VPN, they then have access to the WAN which has several extranets (I dont have anything to do with these) the one is on a 192.168 and the other is on a 167.0 address. My questions is what is the best way to configure this in ISA? I have a seperate 10.0 subnet and that is what I am using for the internal network. What I did is add the 192.168 and the 167.0 to the internal network as well and ISA does not seem to like that configuration. There are certain users that are having problems and there are others that are fine, so I am thinking that there is someething wrong with the way I have it configured.

Thanks
Gavin...
