I am running emule on a client behind ISA, but getting LowID.
When I try to write a Server Publishing Rule (SPR) (i have already done Packet Filtering on all UDP and TCP ports to the specific client), it asks 2 IPs: one Internal, one external. Internal is OK. But when I write the external, which is our ISA Server's external IP I guess, which begins with 212.174.bla.bla, it says: "The IP address is not defined on this array. Please select the IP address from the array's external IPs."
When I enter this IP in LAT, and try writing the SPR again, this time it says: "The IP address specified is not external."
I am going slightly mad, as this is my 8th day trying to solve this problem. Any help is greatly appreciated. I may even go out with you one night "[Smile]" )

I WANT HIGH ID TOO!

Hi Estarabim,

For starters - you've posted this in the wrong forum. This is for ISA 2004 NOT 2000.. [Eek!] (maybe the admin can move this thred..).

Anyway, with regard to your problem you don't need to set up packet filters if you're using a server publishing rule. When setting up a server pulishing rule and you browse for an external address, the dialog box that comes up will only contain external (i.e. any address that is bound to the ISA server NIC's and is NOT in the LAT). You should only put addresses in the LAT that are on your internal network(s). Not sure if this helps you. Please post back to let us know how you get on.

Leon.
