Where I've gone wrong? - 14.Nov.2002 2:48:00 AM

I plan to publish a web server but ran out of public IP addresses. So i followed an article in here for web publishing but wasnt successful. Since there is only one site in my org, i used the server publishng wizard but to no avail. Note that i do not have a registered DNS record for the web site i am publishing becoz it is not for public access. I want to get connected only if i know the external IP of the ISA.
Please advice. Thank you

i changed the inbound port to a non-standard and it works. Can this be a bug in ISA orisconfiguration? [Confused]

Hi Benjamin,

Make sure you use FQDNs in your Destination Sets. That's how the Web Proxy service determines how to handle incoming requests. IP addresses aren't very helpful and actually are a security risk.

HTH,
Tom
