Tom,

another good one for you. If my ISA boxes have some URL filtering software on them, such as SurfControl, and it allows blocking of file types, streaming media, etc... should I use ISA to create such rules (i.e. block .exe files) or the third party app? (or both!)

Is it just a matter of opionion?

Hi BD,

Good question. SurfControl is much more robust, so if you force all your clients to be Web proxy clients, that's definitely the way to go.

HTH,
Tom
