I read al the articles about the DMZ but i still have a question/problem
We have a DMZ (private) in that DMZ there are 2 public web servers and a e-mail server
Now there is a new IIS server with an application that uses user accounts from the active directory. Internal users can work on the server (the server connects to a SQL server)
Now is the problem that internal users want to work outside the company with the new application. But what is the best place to put this server in. the DMZ with intradomain communication or in the internal network with web publishing rules.
(On this IIS server is running only the new application and itĘs only for users inside the company)

Hi Greven,

I would put the server on the internal network, as it should do what you can to avoid extending the private network security zone (AD) into the DMZ.

HTH,
Tom
