which template should I use?

This is my configuration:

Internal network -> ISA 2004 server ->perimeter network -> cisco pix firewall -> external network (internet)

Since my ISA 2004 server is behind a cisco pix firewall should I set it as a back end server or should it just be set as an Edge Firewall.

Thanks.

Hi Six,

None. Just set the default gateway of the external interface of the ISA firewall to be the LAN interface of the pix packet filter.

Then create access rules as needed.

HTH,
Tom

Thanks Tom. I did that. Also I have disabled File and Printer sharing on the external interface. Should I use our external (internet DNS addresses) on the External NIC as well or?

Thanks.
