I was installing a second stand alone integrated ISA server that was going to replace my current one. I thought I would get everything setup then migrate my users, but it seems after I installed ISA & SP1 on my Win2K3 server my old one stopped dead in it's tracks. I shut down the new server and bounced the current one and it started working again. Anybody have any insight on how this happened? I checked the event logs on the current server and I didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

Enterprise version? This is not meant to happen however I have seen this once before and it also puzzeld me it happened at a large insurance organization, they onceused NLB maybe there is alink not sure.

by the way rember that sp1 for w2k3 can cause issues with ISA VPN and RDP etc..

Yes, this is the Enterprise version. After this initial problem, do you think it's safe to turn the server back on to continue the configuration, or once back online would the new ISA cause the issue again?
