Why is IE using FW Client??

Status: offline 		I have a PC that is both a Web Proxy Client and a Firewall Client. Sometimes however, when I load IE and visit a website, I get entries in the FW log. Why is this? I would have though IE would use the proxy settings always. I went to the BBC site (news.bbc.co.uk) and got the following entry:

172.18.163.160 DarrenW iexplore.exe:3:5.0 2003-11-18 08:13:16 LOSPXY02 news.bbc.co.uk 212.58.240.143 - - - - - - GHBN 0 Allow Saxo Prebon Full Access Always 767 0

Have no idea why!
