This is odd...

I do server publishing on port 80 to get web traffic into our web servers. The reason we do server publishing instead of web publishing is because we need WebTrends to be able to see the actual source IP address for web requests so its GeoTrends database can look them up.

Everything is fine, except when I restart the ISA box (or just the ISA services) it recreates web listeners on all the outside IP addresses causing port conflicts with the server purblishing. Then I delete the web listeners, restart the services and it is fine. Restart the services again and the web listeners are back. Freaky...

Any ideas?

Also, randomly the DNS server publishing rule stops working and I have to restart the ISA services to get it back again. See the above paragraph...

Hi Bill,

The DNS problem will be fixed by the rollup hotfix. Call PSS and tell them and they'll know immediately what you're talking about.

How is your Incoming Web listener configued? It is set for configure separate listeners and then no listeners are configured?
