I'm having an issue with my ISA server, itself. I cannot access WindowsUpdate from the machine.
Is there a specific set of ports that need opening? I have no access restrictions on the firewall, such as authentication. All clients can use WU just fine. But when I try to go there from the local ISA box, it works until it searches for updates, then I get an error.
Obviously with all the holes/bugs in MS software, you'd want your firewall all nice and up-to-date, as do I.
Any thoughts? The automatic updater thingie doesn't work either.
As for the box itself, it's running 2K Advanced Server SP4. ISA2000 is the Enterprise edition, with all the latest patches.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The error code I get from the WU page is: 0x800A138F
Don't know if that's relevent to anything, can't find any useful information on MS' site.

Okay, well, if anyone else gets this issue, I fixed it.
Default installations of ISA do not create packet filters for outbound HTTP access. I remember having to create one myself. I did not, however, create one for HTTPS (SSL, on port 443). So on a hunch I created an outbound packet filter for HTTPS on port 443, and WU now works.
Yay me.
