I am a Universal MSDN subscriber, and have recently downloaded the latest release of Windows .NET server Beta 3 (released 12/12/01).

Before I upgraded my Windows 2000 server box, I ran the compatibility wizard which states that "ISA server 2000 is not supported with this version of Windows" it then advises a html link to go to for more details (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=4833). If you go to that link it says information is "forthcoming"

Does anyone know what the issues are with ISA 2000 on Windows DotNet server? or has anyone tried installing in "windows 2000 compatibility mode".

I know they have done a lot of work on the IIS web server (IIS6 on XP) and the DotNet framework is at the back but I would like to install ISA to lock down most things and be aware of what isn't locked down and take other routes.

Windows XP Professional includes a "personal firewall" maybe the server product includes a portion of ISA already?

Any help or other peoples experiences greatly appreciated!

From what I understand, you need ISA Server SP1 before you can install on .Net server.
