Hello everyone,

As there doesn't seem to be any information on whether ISA server works correctly on RC1 of Windows .NET Standard Server RC1 I thought I would start a topic.

Although ISA worked in a haphazard fashion (i.e. parts of it did work) in Beta 3 (SMTP filter and web publishing apparantly didn't work). I wondered whether anyone was running this and had tested whether the security was performing as it should.

I am aware the SMTP server has had a lot of changes in .NET server so I am not putting everyones hopes up but I would be interested to see if anyone had tested ISA server for compliancy as I would like to upgrade my test server but I sure ain't being the first one to try it! "[Smile]"

Any help appreciated

Craig

Yes ISA will work on .net RC1 BUT you must make sure you install SP1 os isa for it to work correctly

Hope that helps

PS I have my domain and ISA running on .net RC1

including DHCP,DNS,AD on server 1
and isa on server 2 [Eek!]

I've got ISA running on Win.NET Enterprise RC1 however its a bit twitch, hopefully one of you can help explain or give me some suggestions..

Currently, I am able to do FTP, NNTP, POP3 and SMTP but only if i start them after the server has completely booted up and logged in to an account, otherwise ISA's web proxy services returns a 503 error everywhere.

I've also got web publishing working, but thats only some of the time.. I've been running this server for about 2 1/2 weeks now and for 85% of it webpublishing has worked. The other, of course it has not. I've found today that, It was not working this morning, I played with a couple of settings, mainly cache size, caching on/off and WPAD publishing and it began working again. Later in the afternoon it quit and playing with those settings again did not restart web publishing..

ANY suggestions/comments would be appriciated [Smile]
