Most of my network clients are XP except a few 2000 Pro. My problem is my 2000 pro clients are not authenticating with the ISA server, they are trying to connect as user Anonymous. Since I have a rule for "Authenticated Users" only they can not get out. Does anyone else have this issue with Windows 2000 Pro?

Thanks.

Hi J,

Are they joined to the domain? Make sure the Firewall client is installed and that they are configured as Web proxy clients.

HTH,
Tom

Yes they are joined to the domain. No need for the firewall client, no complex protocols being used for Internet traffic. The clients are already configured as Web Proxy (getting wpad from DNS entry).

This only seems to be a problem with my Windows 2000 Pro clients for some reason.
