I found an article on HP's website for their new DL320 with ISA2004 installed that shows a list of Windows 2003 services and the recommended settings for each. This might help some to ensure their Server is setup properly to reduce the chance of problems or successful attacks. The list of services can be found starting on page 42 of the document

Hi T,

Thanks! Great doc!

BTW -- I think the HP offering isn't very good. Its just a pre-install. However, I know that both RimApp (www.rimapp.com) and Newtwork Engines (www.networkengines.com) both will have some very impressive offerings. I'd check those out and leave the HP to those who don't know any better. I could get the HP config by buying the 320 and asking my wife to install Win2003 and ISA on it.

HTH,
Tom

Hi Tom,
I agree, for the price I would rather do the setup myself. I was just looking for any additional setup information that was not covered here (yet) or on the MS ISA site. By the way any word on if you will be releasing a downloadable version of your next book?
