We are currently upgrading our servers at work to 64bit machines.

I have had to replace the proxy server as it has sadly blown the motherboard and processor as well as a few other things in a 'freak' diesel generator accident.

We are using ISA2000 at the moment - i have downloaded the latest ISA2004 beta 2 vesion, i have been able to install ISA2004 on the new 64bit operating system but i cannot get the services to start.

Does anyone know how i can 'force' the services to start ? Or is there any patches that i can use.

I really like the new ISA2004 server but it has to run on 2003 Server 64Bit for extended systems.

Does anyone have any ideas ?

i'm inclined to think this is a problem of 32 bits driver.
isa server 2004, vmware, or other 32 bit drivers won't work on windows 2003 ext until they recompil the code..
so i don't think you found an answer for this

ummm - so isa 2004 uses drivers -

oh well - buy the time microsoft has written 64bit drivers to go with its 64 bit operating systems for ISA2004 we will more than likely be using windows 2010 server.

Oh well .. back to the drawing board - looks like its a change to linux 64bit and squid proxy server ....
