I have a very fun problem.
I dont know what registry keys go with IE 5 and up. As you know win2k is profile based and as another user logs on to the same computer it uses different profiles especially their internet settings. Is there a way so that I can put 1 setting (i.e the proxy client ip) in 1 profile or registry key so that it will pass it down to all users? Just like the documents and settings folder. It is more or less a template that other profiles are based on. Is there somthing/somwhere where I can input the proxy IP and not have to worry about somone with a different user name logon and he/she doesnt have that proxy ip?
And if I could do the same with network printing? but the latter the proxy is what I am more interested in

Thanks

Vince

Setup your client settings in ISA Server Configuration. This will allow you to specify the configuration information when they try to configure their proxy server and if that is not tight enough I would use gpedit.msc from the START > RUN. There are lots of policy setting you can put in place like default favorites, IE settings and lots of other neat settings.

Hi Vince,

Derk is right on about group policy! If this computer is a member of a domain, you should create entries in the domain policy to configure the Web browser's proxy configuration.
