I have actually one ISA2004EE server installed in one domain. I am trying to add a new array in a different domain (in the same forest). During the setup, I receive the following error:

"An attempt to use Windows Authentication to authenticate the request sent to the Configuration Storage server failed."

If I look into setup log files, the following errors are listed:

12:07:36 ISA setup CA INFO : Verifying that account: child.domain.com\isaserver$ can be authenticated by storage server: stosrv.ca.intra.domain.com

12:07:39 ISA setup CA INFO : GetAccountInfo failed with 0x80070534 trying to create a connection to the configuration server

12:07:41 ISA setup CA WARNING: AccountToSid(ADAM) failed. hr=0x80070534

NOTES:
This is a Windows 2000 forest with four domains including the root.
