I have the following issues with my ISA Server 2004, my configuration is Internal External DMZ ( AD + AD 2 Antivirus Symantec Corporate) (W2003 as Servers and XP Clients:
When I deploy a AV Client, The Symantec Norton AV use the MS windows network to remotelly install the client, and in my case the DC in DMZ can't see the computers under the domain (browsing the Network places / Domain). At this moment my rules are: Perimeter -> Internal (all outbound); Internal -> Perimeter (Kerberos, Ldap , Cifs, Netbios...). I restart the Computer browser, but it doesn't take any effect, any ideas?
Thanks in Advance. Ariel

Hi Ariel,
The dreaded browser service is broadcast based, and the ISA firewall does not pass broadcasts. Have you set up your WINS infrastructure yet?
Thanks! Tom

Yes I do, I configured out my Wins Infraestructure. Sometimes it works fine, but others when I browser my network only displays the ISA Server and the AD.
Microsoft Rules.

I don't realize this Reg Key will help, Because as Thomas said ISA firewall did not pass broadcasts requests.
Thanks anyway!

Hi Ariel,
You need to make sure that all hosts on each network ID and segment are WINS clients, and that the master browser on each segment is aware of the domain master browser and that domain master browser needs the correct information to share the collated browse list to each of the segment master browsers.
HTH, Tom
