Hello, I have 2 ISA 2004 SP2 boxes, one in head office, one in brach office connected via a MPLS WAN link. I want to set up a Windows Update Cache Rule to point at a WSUS server in the head office site. I have a number of questions: 1. When I create the rule, do I just add the WSUS server URL in the Windows Update Domain name set, along with all the default entries in there, or do I delete all the default entries in there and just add the WSUS URL? If I just add the WSUS server URL to the name set, is that used by default, with the other internet sites used as backup if the WSUS server is unavailable? 2. Are all the default settings e.g. the TTL setting for content etc the optimum settings, or should they be tweaked? 3. All servers in the branch office are Windows 2003, no SQL or IIS. All the clients are XP with MS Office installed. Roughly how much space should be I be looking at increasing the cache size by, if at all, to accomodate caching updates for these products?
