Hiya Nik,

I'm somewhat confused as to why you'd need to do this? What's the point in allowing a client machine to be able to query a name via wins when they then can't access any resources on it because they're all protected by a firewall?

As an aside, I think you'll have little luck in doing this. WINS (Or The Netbios NameService) runs over, you guess it, netbios - ports 137/138 over UDP. Yuk yuk YUK! This would basically mean you are completely void of a firewall....
