Status: offline 		Does anyone know if Microsoft changed something with the latest Firewall Client or a patch that breaks the ability to access the config page on a wireless router ( specifically a dlink ) if the IE proxy settings are turned on in the Firewall Client ? Proper internal DNS resolution no longer works correctly either. Everything used to work just fine but I just built a new machine with all the latest stuff and now it doesn't.

you need to configure Internal Webpages to be Direct Access.

Status: offline 		How do you do that ? And why didn't I need to do that before ? Plus doesn't "bypass proxy server for local addresses" address using 192.168.0.1 on a machine with an ip address of 192.168.0.x ?

Internal Web Servers, needed to be set as Direct Access in ISA Server, but i need to know which SP on you have installed on your ISA to point you to the correct Article.

I still don't beleive that it has anything to do with my problem.

If I type in 192.168.0.1 into IE to access the web based config page on a wireless router connected directly to the workstation then I don't beleive ISA is even getting involved. The problem to me is with something in the network stack on the workstation. As I stated in my original post this used to work no problem up until recently so Microsoft changed SOMETHING.
