Hello -
I am implementing a SBS 2003 SP1 server. The firewall client will be installed on all workstations. We have one wireless user off the domain who does not need to access network resources. How can I create a wireless guest account with ISA Server 2004?
Thanks!
Steve B.

If your ISP provided you with a router, then I'd connect your wireless device directly to it. Any wireless connection would then have Internet only access.

Hi Tom -
I think that I'm going to put the access point outside of ISA, since all they need is Internet access on the laptop. What do you think?
I picked up your "Confiquring ISA Server 2004". It's my 3rd book of yours. Nice job!

I think that putting the untrusted segment in front of the SBS/ISA firewall is a good option. I think an even better option would be a trihomed SBS/ISA firewall machine.
However, I'm wary of putting additional NICs in the SBS computer, because of the issues involved with multihomed DCs, Exchange Servers, etc, and I don't know if the wizards automatically account for all of these issues.
Anyone have any information on adding NICs on an SBS 2003 SP1 computer and any caveats?
Thanks! Tom

I can contribute that it is not best practices to have a GC or DC with multiple IP addresses.
As for having those IP addresses physically separate (on diverse NICs), and bound to the ISA services, I can't say...

for the purposes of a wireless DMZ it should be OK, but I'd test it first. I hear rumors that it works with SBS but I haven't tried it yet.
