I have a dual homed ISA Server and set up a single website on the internal network.
When I access the website on the internal network everything is always ok, and when I access it on the external network everthing is always ok.
BUT...
When on the external network the website always works if your on the same class c. When on another network it will work for a while ,sometimes minutes sometimes hours, then nothing.
my cable modem at home gets "Gateway Timed Out" when it decides to stop working.
I can restart the ISA Server and access the website again for a while.
Can anyone help?

note:ISA Server external IP Address is static
note:when on the same class c's the website always works.

Hi Stumped,

Its impossible for an external network client to be on the same class C network as the internal network servers.

You miss understood, and are correct.
when im on the same class c as the external public NIC, the website always comes up. but when on another public network class c ,other than what the ISA Server is on, the website sometimes comes up.
without making any changes.
