I just finished going through the ftp exercise in the learning zone. Several questions arise.
I don't have the ISA server (set-up for total access both directions) in place yet but plan on putting it between the ISDN line and my switch next Monday.
I have three ftp servers running, all with solid IP addresses. However, only two are associated with domain names. The third is accessed by using the ftp address. How will this ftp service be accessed after installation of the firewall? The details on publishing the ftp service was not clear to me.
Can solid IP addresses inside of the ISA server be treated like virtual addresses? It would seem to me that I would not be able to get to the web services we use if we don't have the solid IP addresses to contact. Or do I set up the ISA server to listen on 225 addresses, and then translate each to a virtual address inside the firewall?
It seems a little confusing. I am headed back to read some more...

Hi ckuchar,

You will probably want to use Server Publishing rules for publishing the FTP servers. Have one IP address for each FTP server and you should be fine. You should also not have a problem with accessing the FTP via IP address, becase the FQDN issues are related to Destination Sets and Web Publishing rules.
