Hi folks,

I am not able to configure Yahoo Messenger on the client machines to support Audio and Web Cam options. Whenever I try, it says that you are behind the firewall..and disconnects. So please tell me a solution so that i can use ISA Server and also Yahoo Messenger with SOund and Cam on my Windows XP Client Systems

I have worked with Yahoo's Messenger voice & video behind ISA, with FIREWALL Clients. All you need is FWC laoded, and connect yahoo messenger ith "no proxy" or "no network detection" settings then it will work. If not open these ports in protocols definitons

1. Yahoo! Voice #1
TCP
Port 5001
Outbound

2. Yahoo! Voice #2
TCP
Port 5000
Outbound

3. Yahoo! Voice UDP
UDP
Port 5000
Receive Send

4. Yahoo! WebCam
TCP
Port 5100
Outbound

Of course, after you create these you need to add a protocol rule for them under Access Policy, or, add them to an existing rule. Unless you have an allow all rule, then no changes needed.
