does anyone here know how do i block voice chat on ISA server during certain hours... i mean peak time when load is heavier.. i know i can route yahoo to socks so voice wont work completely.. but i cant go around changing yahoo messenger configuration to socks and non socks on daily basis.. i need a permanent solution.... please help me...

Status: offline 		For voice chat to work at all, you should have configured quite a lot. Voice chat doesn't work in ISA from the box. So either you have an allow all rule or you have it configured out with Protocol Definitions allowing voice chat.

Please specify what and how you configured Yahoo to work.

If ISA is working on all allow rule, then how to stop voice chat and webcam on both yahoo and msn messenger in specific timings? I mean if I want to open vc and webcam during 12Am to 12Pm and then again block these services from 12Pm to 12 Am while the all allow rules exist, so Is it poosbile in ISA 2000? PLease guide me so. THanx

Status: offline 		Under Policy elements/Destination, Create a new destination set with above destinations of yahoo.

Now Under policy elements/Schedule, create a new schedule which allow timings should be 12am-12pm.

Now In S&C rule, create a new rule which blocks above destination set only in this custome made schedule of 12am-12pm.

 Why dont you use something called as an IM proxy? IMLogic IMManager seems to be the best one around.

 simle make a destenstion with
*.spotlife.net
then pass the s&c rule with this set and action =deny
