I can't install msp client on win98 while it does install on xp and win9x. The error comes with
"Failed to copy c:\internel_setup\setup.ini to c:\internel_setup\setup_a.ini".
Help me..

That used to bug us as well. I couldnt find any solution for that as well.

Hi Fawad,

I think its related to registry settings for 16-bit apps, but I never figured out myself [Frown]

Hi Fawad,

I think i found out the solution of msp client,
I was trying to install msp client on win98 machin but the error i mentioned in previous message was coming but this time i changed my mind. I just checked to make sure the folder that i m installing from is either not read only, yes i found it read only when i removed the check from read only, it installs the msp client.
yes i am agree with tshinder too since he said it's bit concerned with registry settings yes it does, after when you install msp client it directly adds into registry but when the error comes, go to registry and search for "firwall client" remove all entries regarding that, beside remove the folder from read only and try installing it, please reply me if it installs.

Please see the folling Microsoft Support document regarding 16-bit setting. This will affect installation of ISA Server Firewall Client.
