Please help , I can not browse from aol browser, and the server is open to all ip traffic. Also my ISA sever do not have the AOL protocol rule predefined (but has AOL instant messenger). Any ideas ?

Hi Sergio,

I haven't used AOL since 1995, so I can't give you any current information regarding using there browser. Do they have a proprietary browser? I have heard that you can use IE with AOL?

How is the ISA Server connecting to the Internet? And how are you connecting to AOL?

I guess aol use IE engine as a browser.
The ISA server is connecting to the internet via dial-up modems.

Aol is connecting using tci/ip connection , port 5190, socks4.

We can browse without problem using IE 5.X but when we try to connect to a www site inside aol, receive error "page cannot be displayed".
Currently we are using firewall client with all traffic allow

You help will be appreciate

Hi Sergio,

I'm not sure what is going on with the internal AOL sites. I don't use or advocate the use of AOL, so I don't have the facilities to test this. However, there must be some AOL users on this board that can help!
