changes cannot be saved, The specified name already exists.

Attempting to enable the L2TP protocol for VPN clients along with the existing PPTP. Is configure not the ticket or is there a way to edit the exitsing and save without the error?

****Simply trying to change the config for VPN access. We have some XP home users and I want to enable L2TP. Unless XP home can connect and authenticate as 2k & XP pro, I need L2TP. When I try to update after checking the box by L2TP protocol in the VPN config, it says The changes cannot be saved the specified file already exists. The Apply gives the same error. How can I make changes to the VPN section without this issue?

Hi Tom, thanks for the reply;

Any change to the VPN access is refused. I updated the original post with more info. Any apply or change to VPN access ie: adding L2TP/IPSEC protocol, will gen an error:
"Changes cannot be saved.
The specified name already exists"

It makes the temp change, but it is not applied to the config. After cancelling out and attempting the apply to the config, I get:
"The ISA server cannot load the property page.
The specified name already exists"
Win 2003, ISA 2004
