Back in ISA 2000, if I wanted to establish a listener on the ISA for a particular application via Firewall Client, there was an ability to create an .INI file in the same folder as the application .EXE itself; in that INI file, you defined the listener port to establish, and whenever that application launched, it would cause the ISA to establish the listener.

Is this facility available in ISA 2004?

It would still work,..but the Winsock method of Server Publishing has been replaced with methods based on Reverse NAT (Static NAT).  This actually change when ISA2000 came out and the method you are describing was used back in the old MS Proxy2.

With ISA2004/6 it is clearly dealt with in the Publishing Rule.  I don't remember what it looked like in ISA2000.
