I have serious problem regarding email. I will try to be more precise and if anybody has answer PLEASE help. My network:
ISA server 2004 as a firewall and forwarder for external DNS request, Win server 2003 STD as AD and DNS internal, win server 2003 GC like additional domain controller and backup server and finally exchange server 2003 (standard edition) for messaging. We have two offices and in central location I setup RPC over HTTP (outlook calendar sheering etc.) and for remote location because of slow connection users can’t use RPC over HTTP and they have to use POP3. There is a problem. Soon when anybody send attachment POP3 server can’t load into the user mailbox in the MS outlook on PC. Regular mail going through but if anybody includes attachments mail doesn’t work. Users have to go on web mail, delete message and then open outlook express or MS outlook.

What I am notice: From ISA server 2004 I can type https://mail.mydomain.com and access web mail but internally (behind ISA firewall) I can’t access https://mail.mycompany.com ? Also, if I type in web browser https://exchange.mydomain.com access is granted without any problem? Second, when I tested POP3 in the LAN and type: incoming mail server (POP3): exchange.mydomain.com and external mail server (SMTP): exchange.mydomain.com I can receive attachments normally but if I type for incoming mail serve (POP3): mail.mydomain.com I have error number 0x800CCC19. From outside I can’t type for incoming mail server (POP3): exchange.mydomain.com because MX record on ISP (who holding our domain) is: mail.myomain.com.

I thought that maybe internal domain can cause some problems but if I can receive attachment in the LAN maybe some different issue create a problem for example ISA server? I try to find solutions but without success and if anybody can help in this PLEASE I will be more then thankful.
