how can i know the IP address of computers on my
LAN? can anybody help.

If they are assigned via DHCP then the IP address and MAC address will show up in the DHCP management console under address leases.

Another way is running "ipconfig" from a cmd prompt on each machine.

A "ping -a xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" will all reveal a machine name for a specific IP address.
