I have a webserver in DMZ which is not a domain memeber. I have allowed SQL ports from DMZ to Internal. I have route relationship between DMZ and Internal Network and NAT between DMZ and External.

I can access the website on DMZ server with out any problem. When I try to access it from Internet it works but, for somereason some of the images are not displayed. What could be the reason? The same website is published on another webserver (not published on ISA just, works fine). What's the recommended solution to care of this issue. I dont want to put this webserver on our domain.

I have 3 website on the webserver I want user to access it from internet by using url
one.abc.com
two.abc.com
three.abc.com
I tried many different configuration but not working for me.

Please help me to fix this issue.

Can you provide an address that gives an example of the images not showing up?

Thanks for the quick reply.

http://srs.360inc.com/newsrs/
I have to try 3-4 times before it opens the page.
Every time there is one or other image missing.
After I login all the link dont show up right. It is a asp.net 2.0 application.

I am trying to capture users IP Address on the top but for some reason it displays DMZ NIC IP address of ISA Server

I want this website to be accesed by using url http://srs.360inc.com

another one is
http://srs.360inc.com/srs/
I want this website to be accessed by using URL http://srs1.360inc.com
I have already registered host A record with ISP.

When I try from internal network everything is fine.

Try configuring the Web Publishing Rule to preserve the original client IP address.

Tom

I tried the below  configuration under webserver publishing properties
public Name:
one.abc.com
two.abc.com
Path:
External  /*  Internal /one/*
External /*   Internal /two/* This errors out as I am trying to use same prefix, how to fix ? If I add one path it works fine but I am able to access same website with both public name above.

do I need webpublishing rule for each virtual directory under default website?

Create three Web Publishing Rule, one for each FQDN. You can use a single Web listener to do this.

Tom

Is there a need for the Web server to be a domain member? Are users authenticating to reach the Web site?

As for the images not showing up, its hard to say without being able to visit the site first to see what error is returned regarding the images. Could be a caching issue, or a Web routing issue, or it could be that the images are part of an embedded script that shows their location to be at an internal name, instead of an externally accessbile name.

Thanks for the quick reply

No users are not authenticating to AD they authenticate to sql server table.

here's the site address.
http://srs.360inc.com
http://webx.360inc.com

How can I make sure that caching and webrouting is not an issue ?
How can I check if images are part of embedded script or not?

Hi B,

Will, I find if I right click the picture and click "show picture" it graphic does show up.

Try disabling the caching feature on the ISA Firewall. You can do that by not reserving any space for the cache drive.

HTH,
Tom

Yes, but reverse caching is in general very little use unless you have a very large and very busy site.

How can I disable reverse proxy?

other error I have is, when I log into the site besides losing the image, when I try to click on link to jump to other pager it gives me file not found error?
This is what I have configured under Path Tab for Web Publishing Rule.
External Path /* Internal Path /newsrs/*
This is where it's trying to go?
http://webx.360inc.com/FileNotFound.htm?aspxerrorpath=/newsrs/newSRS/unProcessedClaims.aspx

Try changing the internal path to /* and see what happens.

1)
I tried all combination and still not working. This website is created in .net 2.0. I have one more webpublishing rule which has same configuration as this one and it works fine.

2)
You want me not remove caching by right clicking cache properties and take off configured drive for caching or there is other way to just turn off reverse proxy?

That just removes caching, but not reverse proxy.

In order to disable reverse proxy, you'll need to delete all Web listeners, and create an HTTP inbound Protocol Definition and then create a Server Publshing Rule. Make sure the Web proxy filter is not bound to the Protocol Definition.

I don't know. Try it first by disabling the cache.
