Hello all,

i have 3 servers

server A , 2003 EE with SP2 and i will use with for ISA server.
Server B, 2003 EE with SP2 and will use it as infra or DC server
Server C , linux ubuntu which i will use it for data base server.

my question is, what is better ?? to run domain controller on infra server or just DNS and DHCP!
if i run DC , can i run ISA 2006 standard or must be enterprise !
can i make linux box member in MS-AD !

which is better for ISA machine it self ??? to make member of domain or just stand alone server !

What do you infra  server ? what roles would it hold ?

Does not matter, both would be able to join the domain and communicate with it.

I know that you can join a MAC machine to Windows AD, but i have no idea about linux.

Yes,

If you want to authenticate your users outbound connections, then you will need to set the clients as webproxy and/or firewall client.

check this article : http://www.isaserver.org/tutorials/Configuring-WPAD-Support-ISA-Firewall-Web-Proxy-Firewall-Clients.html
