Hello, Not sure if I got your setup right, but anyway one solution for publishing not 2, but up to ~10.000 websites (theoretical limit for one IIS6 instance) is to use "client host headers". Another answer could be the use of different ports for publishing different internal sites. for example, if you have 2 sites: www.example.com and www.mysite.com and want to publish both of them using the same external address: 1. register @ your DNS provider both entries: example.com and mysite.com to point to same static routed IP (your IP) 2. contact your registrar and modify your site's name server(s) to point to your DNS provider 3. Add a web publishing rule in your ISA box as follows: From Weblister (which can be configured to listen on different ISA server's network sets) to IP address or FQDN of internal IIS or Web server machine. Configure the rule to forward original host headers instead of ISA's one and also add in the same rule the public (internet DNS) names of your two websites (www.example.com / www.mysite.com). Also configure the rule to listen for inbound connection on default port 80 and forward request to IIS server on port 80 (this is unless your planning to use custom ports for publishing web sites) 4. On your IIS box, open www.example.com 's property page and modify the default host header under "general" tab as follows: IP address: choose your IIS server's IP (do not leave the "all (unassigned)" setting); PORT: 80; Host header: www.example.com. Do the same for www.mysite.com but put www.mysite.com as host header value. What this setup does: I enter from anywhere on the net www.example.com, your DNS translate the request to your static public IP address, the GET HTTP://www.example.com reaches your ISA's Weblistner service. The WebListner forwards the HTTP GET request to your internal published IIS server (includind the original host header: www.example.com in our case), your IIS sever takes the request on port 80 inspects the header value and returns to me the www.example.com home page. Another good ideea is to register 2 entries in your DNS for the same site. One should be with www and one without. In this case, to not forget to add the additional (example.com: WO. 'www') host header. Also, if the setup does not work try to add the ISA server as the default gateway for your IIS server from your TCP/IP IIS NIC properties. Hope it helps, Dragos

Hey Zetone thanks for that help was working but get an error in my isa server: The Web Proxy filter failed to bind its socket to 192.168.0.230 port 80. This may have been caused by another service that is already using the same port or by a network adapter that is not functional. To resolve this issue, restart the Microsoft Firewall service. The error code specified in the data area of the event properties indicates the cause of the failure. The failure is due to error: 0x80072740 not sure what that is is that for use same port!! bengt

This happends if IIS is installaed on the same machine as ISA and IIS is listening on the same port (80) as ISA's WebListner service. The probability for the two services to overlap is high. If you must have IIS on ISA for a specific reason, make sure to publish the IIS service on the ISA internal interface and change the default port number. Then if you want the site to be published create a Web publishing rule which forwards traffic from your Weblistner's port 80 to your internal ISA interface port 81 (or whatever port you set to publish the site in IIS console) Cheers, Dragos
