local host network rule

hello all, i have noticed that the network rule for the local host network is route. does this mean that i can create an allow rule from external to localhost ? i know that with route relation, i can use access rules and publishing rules. am i right ?

"Localhost" is presenting the ISA server, but that you know I guess. What du you want the ISA server to access? The first thing to do is to check the System policys if there is some rule that you can enable to grant the ISA server the access you want.

yes i know that, but as i said, the route network rules permits to create access rules and publishing rules. that is the purpose of the question. as localhost has a route rule to external, can i create access rules from external to localhost ?

Routing rules are bidirectional and only need defining in one-direction to be functional for both directions...
