looking for 2 web filters (HTTP headers & forwardin... - 11.Aug.2005 8:06:00 AM

Hi,

I'm looking for 2 kinds of filters/add-ins (if they exist):
- one that can forward credentials to the web server after authenticating with a client certificate (SSL Certificate) at the web listener
(like with Basic authentication and its forwarding setting)
- one that can modify HTTP headers, especially to add the contents of a field of the client certificate

Does someone know if this exists and if so, which product(s) and where can I find it? If not, how difficult/easy is it to create such filters ourselves?

Thanks!

Pedro

I don't know if there is such a product, but you may want to look into websense. I believe you can create it manualy with isa it's self, here are same links which may help you out.

Hi,

Thank you for your answer! However, your links deal with SSL tunneling and publishing a web site on the ISA server itself, two things I don't want to do (for several reasons) :-)

I have never heard of websense... Who is the author or publisher of this product?

Thanks!
Pedro

Hi,

I have found Websense, but it was not what I was looking for...

However, I have found 2 add-in products which can add/remove/modify HTTP headers: ClientIPForwarder and ISAPI Rewrite. I've only tested the latest one and I like it :-D You can compare it to mod-rewrite in Apache.

Greets,
Pedro
