I am having trouble accessing my secure web space on using CuteFTP. I have added a FTP inbound rule and enabled the application filter on the ISA server. Everything looks OK but it won't connect to the external server.

can anyone help ?

Try PASV mode and see if that helps.

by installing the firewall client software I have managed to get cuteftp to connect. I can delete a file that is on the remote server but if I try and upload I get an error 505 message and it tells me the firewall forbids it.

I can download using IE5
