Getting this error
Devices or applications disabled
'ISA 2000' will cause Windows to become unstable. Windows has prevented these drivers from loading. Click here for more details. Updating win 2003 server r2 ...No way looks successfull  .......... Anybody  around ?

I am trying to install ISA 2000 to fresh installed 2003 server but i'll got error, stated that it is not compatible with the OS. somebody can give an idea to fix it up.

i follow all the instruction on how to install isa 2k in windows server 2003. but the problem is that clients have to put the proxy server in internet option-connection-lan setting. without the proxy server and port number.the client cant have web browsing experience. but i put the proxy and port number the client have web browsing... how can i disable this so that client will no longer to configure the proxy server in thier internet explorer to have we browsing.? is this part of the security? or normal? pls sir hope you read this.. i need answer. thank you very much more power

Sounds like the difference between a proxy client and a nat client.

You either have to put the proxy into the browser lan settings, or you need to make the proxy server the default gateway in the PCs IP config.

Which you chose (or can chose) depends on your network setup.

The traffic need to find its way to the proxy server for all addresses not in your local domain or network.

If there are local addresses outside the PCs local subnet you will probably have an internal address as the default route so that your local firewall/routers can re-direct traffic appropriately. In this case you need to use browser lan settings

If you have a small network with all hosts in one subnet the default gateway can be the firewall or network edge server. In this case you could change it to the proxy server and avoid browser setting changes.
