I am trying to astablish a VPN from a remote Win NT 4.0 server (BDC) to (through) my ISA server to allow the remote BDC to do domain related (135-139, 445) type of communication with my PDC. I think I have the basics set-up, but I think that one of the networks I cross (2 WANs and an independant LAN) is grooming GRE out. I've spoken with admin's from the different network, and of course, they aren't disabling GRE. . .but it doesn't work.

How can I test for GRE connectivity (like we telnet to port 25 to test snmp)? Or, is there a way to test the path to determine if those other networks are stoping something?

thanks

You can use PPTP ping to test GRE connectivity.
U need to install 2K support tools.
