VPN and DNS - 23.Sep.2003 12:43:00 AM

Hello All,

This is my first posting to your group so please be gentle. Here∆s my question. I am currently using a Windows 2000 server with ISA installed as my preferred VPN application. When my remote clients connect to the network they receive their IP addresses via my DHCP sever (which by the way works great). The issue is that when they try to resolve names on my internal network they are unable to. What is interesting is that is seems as if the remote client is trying to use an address from my ISP for DNS. (BTW we are using a full T with a public IP for VPN access) Am I supposed to set my network card bindings some special way or what?

I have gone through most the isaserv.org site looking for DNS help but have not been able to find anything related to this specific issue.

Any ideas?

Hi Cat,

Have you checked out the VPN Deployment Kit yet?

What leads you to believe that your clients are trying to use your ISP's DNS Server?
