Can anyone tell me how to get Winmx to go through ISA server.

if you have the firewall client installed and don't have any restrictions in the protocol or site and contents, it will work.

I did WinMX yesterday. During the install of WinMX it mentions 2 ports 1 TCP and 1 UDP and it also tells you the direction of each. Just create a definition for these ports then create a rule to allow access and it should work fine.

At the end of the installation there is an option to select secondary or primary connection select secondary and connect.

I don't know if the following is totally necessary but did it anyway.

Setup client (outbound) and server (inbound) filters for TCP port 6699 and UDP port 6257. Also server published the internal PC. (Upload requests failed until I did this).

This method allows me to us a primary connection.
