Hello,
"Counterstrike" game client ->ISA 2000 ->ISP> "Counterstrike" game server
The subject tells all, but it doesn`t work though demanded TCP outbound 27015 is enabled in "protocol definitions".
It works OK another way:when I use another 2 NIC box with RRAS NAT and routing with RESERVED public address for internal game client.
1) How can I find out why it does not work with ISA NAT(Is there a possibility of "reservation" of other public address, not the one of external NIC, in ISA NAT)?
2)Is there a possibility to create "protocol definition" for "all IP traffic" in order to span all IP(tcp/udp) traffic by one definition, so that "protocol rule" for this definition would definitely cover "all ip trafic", not just for definitions defined? 3)Same as 1) but for "packet filters" (IP not using TCP/UDP)
We have commonly troubles with testing applications and by default we primarily use ISA for good NAT work (should be?), NO FIREWALL functionality needed, so I guess that my questions are reasonable.
I have set up an internet Cafe for 6 Users, all playing Cs & DOD on Steam, I've also set up two Servers, one for Cs and another for DOD. If you want any information please email me on walterfraser@gpdc.org.uk
