Ports for Battlefield Vietnam - 28.May2004 2:51:00 AM
I am having some trouble setting up Battlefield Vietnam to run behind an ISA server. Can anyone help with the primary / secondary ports that the game uses?

As a gaming client, playing out from your ISA network to some public server? In which case a single client should be able to play absolutely fine from your network, if you're running the Firewall client. But if you try to get a second person from your ISA LAN to play out from your network...they cannot, and I've yet to find a solution here.

Or are you trying to host a BF:V server from your ISA network?

They are almost the same as 1942. Should be posted on the bf-nam forums. You can also use tcpview to see whats happening.

The port settings for Battlefield Vietnam are almost the same (see game manual), except for the following:
port 28910 should be opened in the same way as 28900 should be for Gamespy3D to get a server listing inside the game (if you use Gamespy3D client than you should already be able to play on the internet).

28910 TCP outbound

All ports are UDP:

4755 Listen Port
23000 GameSpy Internet
22000 GameSpy LAN
27243 - 27245 All-Seeing Eye
14567 or 15567 BF:V and PunkBuster

Glad I could help [Wink] [Cool]
