I would like to see HTTP redirect allow for redirect to a host, not just to a URL.

For example, if a user is trying to get to FedEx.com, and we have a contractual agreement with UPS, I would like to route all business traffic to UPS and enforce our business agreement.

To me, this seems a lot more effective than sending them off to a page that wagsd a finger at them.

I'd love the following add/ons and features

1) get rid of the hateful limit of one and only one gateway. Please allow the chance to create transparent backup gateways to web and non-web protocols without human intervention and without 3rd party software.

2) Consider a MAC address based authentication

3) Allow to specify port Ranges in both protocol definitions and packet filters.

4) consider to provide firewall client software to a wider range of workstations (Macintosh, Unix and its clones)

5) provide a traffic load-balancing feature by allowing to specify more than one gateway and providing routing rules also for non-web protocols.

all silly things...just a start [Big Grin]
