I would like to use authenication, and take advantage of the web caching on the proxy, but you have to disable the HTTP redirection filter, because it won't pass authenication to the next layer.. This was a bad idea not to do in the first place.

Hi Jethro,

if you don't find anonymous requests an acceptable policy, it is indeed better to just disable the HTTP Redirector. The drawback is of course that HTTP requests hitting the Firewall Service can't take advantage of the Web Proxy service.
