Hi Alma,

Yes! This is a very good migration tool included in the ISA2004 beta. There's great information on how it works in the Help file. Check it out.

Thanks!
Tom

Where is this migration tool??? I have exported my ISA2K config, uninstalled it, installed ISA2K4, but am unable to find any reference to this tool or importing ISA2K config in any of the help files :-(

Hi Ricci,

Check in the support folder. In one of the subfolders there is a tool that will export the ISA2000 config to an XML file. You can then restore your ISA2000 config from that.

HTH,
Tom

I had found that tool, but when I tried to run it I was just getting a cryptic message: {0x60}

Have just re-installed ISA2K tried to import my previous backup of the config, and guess what... it can't load it. DOH!

Oh well, I needed to clean up my protocols and rules so am now rebuilding with ISA2K4 from scratch :-)

Hi Alma,

Can you send your .xml file to me at tshinder@isaserver.org? I'll see if I can get it to the right people and they should be able to use the information to fix any possible bugs with the tool.

Thanks!
Tom
